I wish all of you the best. Thank you for doing such a great job. I´m thinking of you.
ResponderEliminarMy hat off to Aidan for the wonderful job in organizing SpainWise. The turnout of teachers from Spain as well as at least 3 other countries and schools from several different areas of Spain made this event a tremendous success. It was marvelous to see so many schools interviewing non-stop but I'm sure it was also very tiring.
ResponderEliminarYesterday, May 23rd. Aidan made Cordoba the TESOL headquarters of Spain.

I had indeed been thinking that there would be more people moving into/back into/not leaving teaching because of the economic climate, but it was only this weekend that I started realising that what was missing among my applicants was teachers moving on from other Spanish schools. I think it is quite true that people will be staying put (rather the devil you know...) and this is going to mean it will be even more difficult for me to find suitable staff this year, even if there does turn out to be a surplus of teachers overall. My ideal candidate is of course someone with a proven track record in a similar set-up to my own and in Spain.
